Wiffle Ball

The club is limited to 18 students
Be the 1st to pitch a no-hitter, or hit for the cycle! Perhaps making the blooper reel is more your style! This club is for all baseball enthusiasts, fans of the game, or those wishing to step outside their comfort zone and try something new. We will practice the art of Wiffleball pitching (screwballs, curves, sinkers, etc.). We will play 2 sided games. And like the pros, we will keep track of stats throughout the season for some added fun!

Decorations and Ornaments

Are you interested in making decorations for your home based on Holidays and Special Occasions? We will craft projects for Easter, Spring, Memorial Day, Flag Day, and Summer. There will be an opportunity for participants to create a project that is special to them, such as for a birthday or graduation. This is a fun club that allows your creativity to shine through.
Philo-Math
Instructor: Ms. Lee

Philomath is defined as a love of Math. Even if you don't quite love Math yet, you can still join! This is a space where I will offer help with Math, a place to go over difficult concepts, and a place to apply those concepts to various hands-on projects! I will provide any and all supplies for the projects; you just have to bring yourself!

Basketball
Instructor: Mr. Webster
Location: Main Gym
Club is limited to 20 students
Be ready this basketball season! Keep your skills sharp and stay conditioned by joining us for some Tuesday morning hoops. Teams will be divided by grade level in each half of the gym. Participants will start with some free gym basketball warm-up time. Then we will run 2 games of 5v5, followed by a championship game at the end. All participants, regardless of basketball experience, are welcome and will play.
Futsal
Instructor: Mr. Schaffer
Location: Small Gym
Futsal is a soccer-based game, played on a basketball court, and this club season, we will be indoors in the Slim Gym. Futsal is played between two teams of five players each, one of whom is the goalkeeper.

Lego Club

Join our Lego club and unleash your creativity! This club is perfect for students who love building, designing, and problem-solving. Every session, we'll challenge you to build amazing creations. Tree Hugger Hikers and Artists

This spring we will be getting out and about on our local trails as well as getting crafty with nature themes and materials! Please dress for the weather and crafts that could include paint.
Zen Den
Instructor: Ms. Hawksley

Zen Den is a relaxed, judgment-free after-school space for students who want a calm place to unwind, create, and connect with friends. Each week, we’ll make fun, hands-on calming projects like slime, stress balls, glitter jars, bracelets, and more while listening to chill music and hanging out in a positive, low-pressure environment. It’s the perfect way to de-stress after a busy school day, take a break from drama, and reset before heading home. Come vibe, create, and recharge with us.

The goal of the club is to have fun playing lacrosse, exercise, and improve your skills along the way. Participation is open to all grades and all ranges of experience. Those new to lacrosse are welcome.

Start your morning with Girls Lacrosse Club. Players practice passing, catching, shooting, and teamwork through drills and scrimmages. Open to beginners and experienced players. Great way to stay active and build skills before school.

Even if this is your first time, you will learn the basic skills necessary to succeed in game situations. This is flag football, so there is NO CONTACT, which allows players of all body sizes and skills to play together.
Zine Makers
Instructor: Mr. Turnbull

Zines are self-published, small-circulation magazines. They can be about anything and for anyone. With the help of a photocopy machine, a zine is your ticket to community building and friendship. In this class, we will practice different printing techniques, like rubber stamps, mono-printing, and collage. We will research zines of old to inspire us. No prior experience is needed, just your enthusiasm for publishing, art, writing and culture.

Popcorn and a Movie

Club is limited to 12 students
Encounter and express ideas, experiences, and emotions; be a part of something; laugh, reflect, and share your thoughts. Discussion after each movie. Most movies will take two meetings to view and discuss. And, of course, nothing goes better together than popcorn and a movie!
Fashion Design and Needlework
Instructor: Ms. Kalbach

Learn to design clothing, accessories and how fabrics are developed and work to create your own unique look. Also keep a note book of beautiful designs. If interested students can also learn to crochet, knit and embroider jeans.
Blooket Builders

Help create Blooket games for teachers and classes across the school! We will take requests for topics, terms, and facts from teachers and turn them into fun review games. Write, edit, and play as a team of Blooket Builders!
Chess Club

Join us in the last Trimester for Dungeons and Dragons club; the final trimester is open to new players as well as veterans to the game. The Dungeons and Dragons club has been running at Monomoy Middle School since 2019. It is an activity that helps build community, sharpens students' storytelling skills, supports basic math and statistics, celebrates creative thinking and crafting, and is adaptable to students' individual needs. If you have a desire for adventure, join us!
