The use of telecommunications equipment in the Monomoy Regional School District by students and staff is for educational purposes. The use of such equipment, software, and peripherals at school is a privilege and not a right.
All students and staff are expected to use Internet resources for appropriate and legitimate educational objectives. It is expected that no one will use the Internet in any inappropriate ways: to solicit or conduct illegal activities, to view pornographic or sexual materials, to access social networking sites, or to use email, Instant Messaging, or newsgroup activities in any improper manner.
Students may only use telecommunications equipment under the direction of an approved Supervisor. Students, staff and volunteers utilizing Monomoy telecommunications equipment must be oriented or trained in the proper use of equipment and sign an Acceptable Use Policy.
